About Me: Alison Hartigan

I am an Occupational Therapist passionate about working with people to help them achieve their goals. As a therapist, I see people as a 'whole person', and because of that, I choose to use a biopsychosocial* approach.

I love supporting clients to participate more fully in life and participate with increased ease & satisfaction. As an OT, I am committed to supporting people towards improved well-being through occupational performance in their personal, domestic and community activities of daily living (ADLs) and management of energy, fatigue, pain and sensory-emotional regulation.

I bring my experience from previous roles in people leadership and management and massage therapy to my role as an Occupational Therapist. I have experience working overseas and language teaching qualifications, which help me support clients with various cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

I see young people and adults with physical, executive function, sensory and emotional barriers to participation in daily occupations in a clinic environment, via telehealth or home visit/workplace visit (where appropriate).
